Howbuilt is a narrow tool: one public URL, one fixed-section teardown you can finish—prioritizing shippable fixes over vibes. We document what each run tried to see and what it could not.
Mission
Fixed shape, checkable where possible, done when you reach the last tab: cite what visitors can see; leave blanks instead of bluffing. Calm literacy about public pages—not a pentest, law firm, or vendor stamp.
Especially for
Indie builders who shipped pages with AI and still feel uneasy about credibility; first-time wiring of Stripe, pricing, and privacy/terms links; people who bookmarked ten competitors but never read them through the same column set.
What we are not
Howbuilt is not a penetration-testing tool, not a guarantee of accuracy for every site, and not a replacement for official documentation or vendor support.
